In 2003, our story began in the vibrant landscape of China when a partner at tiefblau founded the first digital agency, mediaman, in Shanghai. Following the success of the first agency, David Hiebaum launched the media publisher sportauto (auto motor und sport) in China. The core team from sportauto later initiated the Chinese agency at-plus in 2019, which is now a crucial partner of tiefblau.
In 2022, tiefblau came into being when David Hiebaum decided to establish an agency in Vienna with the goal of bringing innovative ideas and experiences from the Chinese market to Europe. It’s no secret that many innovative solutions have their origins in China, especially since the rise of Tiktok.
Nevertheless, our primary focus remains on supporting clients in their journey to Asia, whether it’s China, Thailand, or India.
